Getting a good night’s sleep
It’s well known that the human body needs sleep to recuperate, but sometimes you wake up tired and irritated even after eight hours of sleep. Why is that and what should be done to ensure we get a proper rest while we’re asleep?
Fresh air is key. Lack of oxygen and stale air can prevent you from a getting a good night’s sleep. Leaving the heating on in your bedroom can lead to disturbed sleep, and stale air can cause headaches. In the morning you’ll have bags under your eyes and will still feel tired. To help you get a good night’s sleep, before going to bed make sure to ventilate the room or use Prana air recuperators.
Fresh air in winter?
Of course, it’s not very economical to leave windows open during the winter. And draughts are likely to make you feel cold or uncomfortable during the night. In that case, try using forced ventilation with heat recovery. Nowadays, you have multiple options to choose from. First of all, check the energy efficiency and noise level of the product in question, since these are two key factors when considering what system to install in your home.
Fresh air
Prana’s MVHR (Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery) technology is the best solution. Not only is it virtually silent, but it also features heat recovery, which means that even with the windows closed, the room will receive an inflow of fresh air at a comfortable temperature. In winter, it leads to significant savings on utility bills. The intake and exhaust airflows are simultaneous, but separate. The coefficient of performance is constant and as high as 92% (depending on the operating mode). The recuperator consumes no more than 32 W/h of electricity (at high power; just 6w/h at low power). The built-in copper heat exchanger provides extra confidence, since copper is a natural antiseptic, so you don’t have to worry about how clean the fresh air is. In addition, the Prana’s sensors monitor and adjust the airflow and temperature as required. The Prana unit monitors various parameters, including temperature, atmospheric pressure, CO2, air quality and humidity, and the data collected is used to create the perfect airflow for any environment.
So, to wake up rested, refreshed and in a good mood, make sure you have the right conditions to ensure a good night’s rest. We’ll be happy to help you with the most important thing: fresh air!
Prana recuperator/ventilation units utilise an innovative system of sensors to monitor, correct and control the airflow in any indoor environment. These sensors can detect changes in atmospheric pressure, temperature, air quality, CO2 build-up and humidity, enabling Prana to easily outperform rival systems on the market.
